1. An electrochemical sensor which comprises a vessel formed with a liquid-junction at an end face of the vessel, a resilient ion selective membrane disposed at the liquid-junction, and an immobilized enzyme membrane arranged to cover said ion selective membrane;

  • a recess of a predetermined depth being formed in the end face of said vessel and the resilient ion selective membrane having a thickness larger than the depth of said recess;

    said ion selective membrane being secured to said recess and pressed therein by the immobilized enzyme membrane.
