1. A foam regulator composition for in surfactant-containing products, consisting essentially of a mixture of(a) microcrystalline paraffin wax having a solidification point of about 60°

  • to 95°

    C., in an amount of about 5 to 60%;

    (b) hard paraffin having a solidification point of about 40°

    to 60°

    C., in an amount of about 15 to 60%;

    (c) soft paraffin having a solidification point of about 32°

    to 42°

    C., in an amount of about 1 to 50%; and

    (d) hydrophobic, finely divided silica, in an amount of about 3 to 18%;

    all percentages being by weight based on the total weight of the mixture, said composition being free from surfactants.
