An oleophobizing and hydrophobizing agent for textiles, natural and synthetic fibers, carpets, papers and leather comprising an aqueous dispersion of graft polymers or graft copolymers prepared by polyermizing or copolymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer or a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers in the presence of an aqueous dispersion consisting essentially of a non-thermosetting polyurethane, wherein the ethylenically unsaturated monomer is an ethylenically unsaturated perfluoroalkyl monomer having a molecular weight above 367 and wherein said mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers is a mixture of said perfluoroalkyl monomer with at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer which is free from perfluoroalkyl groups in a ratio by weight of perfluoroalkyl monomers to monomers free from perfluoroalkyl groups of at least 3:
