A laminate structure comprising (a) a layer of a saponified product of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing 20 to 55 mole % of ethylene and having a degree of saponification of at least 90 mole % and (B) a layer of hydrophobic thermoplastic resin, with (C) a bonding interlayer placed therebetween which comprises a composition of (X) a polymer of ethylene, an acrylic acid ester, and an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or anhydride thereof and (Y) a polymer of ethylene and an acrylic acid ester, said polymers (X) and (Y) being formulated so that the following formulas (I), (II), (III), and (IV) are satisfied:
