1. In a pinball machine including a lower playfield cabinet and an upper display cabinet, the improvement comprising:

  • first support means mounted within the lower cabinet and having an exposed portion extending a predetermined distance above the lower cabinet, second support means mounted within the upper cabinet, and pivot means interconnecting said second support means and said exposed portion of said first support means and accommodating pivotal movement of said second support means and the upper cabinet with respect to said first support means and the lower cabinet between an upright use position and a folded position about a pivot axis disposed within the upper cabinet, the upper cabinet in the upright use position thereof being spaced above the lower cabinet a distance sufficient to permit a clear view of the entire playfield by a user, the upper cabinet in the folded position thereof closely overlying the lower cabinet and the playfield.
