1. Apparatus for projecting at infinity an image of an object displayed on a convex surface, said apparatus comprising:

  • (a) a pair of beam-splitters disposed on an optical axis between said surface and a would-be observer, each of said beam splitters comprising a flexible, semi-transparent, semi-reflective sheet; and

    (b) means for imparting a substantially right cylindrical sector shape to each of said sheets, and for orienting said sheets such that the axis of curvature of one sheet is substantially perpindicular to axis of curvature of the other sheet.
