3. A process for the preparation of a composition for regenerating the collagen of the connective tissue of the skin, comprising the following steps:
-
(a) infusing pine bark with boiling water for about twenty minutes in the proportion of about 100 g bark per liter water, and then macerating said bark in water for about two hours to which alcohol has been added in a proportion of about 50 ml alcolol per liter water, (b) filtering the resulting suspension and adding an anti-oxidant and a buffer in an amount sufficient to keep the pH at a value of about 7, (c) macerating pine needles in water, in a proportion of about 100 g needles per liter water to which a buffer has been added in an amount sufficient to keep the pH at a value of about 7, and then filtering the solution, and (d) mixing the resulting filtrate with the filtrate obtained at the end of step (b). - View Dependent Claims (4, 5)
