A synthetic resin composition having reduced corrosion-causing tendency and coloration, said composition comprising(A) 100 parts by weight of a synthetic resin containing halogen and/or an acidic substance derived from at least one kind of catalysts, monomers and post-treating agents, and(B) 0.001 to 50 parts by weight of a hydrotalcite solid solution represented by the following formula (1)
