Abstract
The invention provides a method and an apparatus which assure a sustained vaporization of deodorants, perfumes, pest control agents and other substances intended to modify, condition on otherwise alter the atmosphere. A tape comprising a base material and, as supported thereon, at least one active substance which vaporizes at ambient temperature or under heating in a condition in which its vaporization is inhibited is driven relative to a head which is adapted to remove the inhibition of vaporization, whereby the active substance is vaporized at a constant rate.
