1. In a flexible thermosensitive wire which comprises a core strand, a pair of electrodes in a spaced relation to each other, and a thermosensitive polymer layer formed between the paired electrodes and covering the core strand, the improvement comprising;

  • a solvent barrier layer, which is permeable to moisture formed to cover the thermosensitive polymer layer and one of the paired electrodes formed on the thermosensitive polymer layer, and an outermost moisture-permeable layer of a soft polymer material which has a better vapor permeability than the barrier layer and is resistant to a dry-cleaning solvent formed to cover the barrier layer; and

    a separation layer separating said barrier layer and said thermosensitive polymer layer and one of the paired electrodes wound around said thermosensitive polymer layer thereby preventing direct contact between said barrier layer and said thermosensitive polymer layer whereby the wire has a high dry-cleaning resistance.
