A device for aligning and guiding a reciprocatingly movable drill for drilling a hole through at least either the tibia or the femur forming a knee joint, in which hole one end of an anterior cruciate ligament substitute is intended to be inserted and thereafter attached to the bone, the device including a first aligning and guiding element (5;
