A product selected from the group consisting of a compound, a salt thereof and an acid thereof of an inositol triphosphate having the structural formula ##STR17## where (a) three of R1, R3, R5, R7, R10 and R11 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R8, R9 and R12 are hydrogen;
- (b) three of R1, R3, R6, R7, R9 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R5, R8, R10 and R11 are hydrogen;
(c) three of R1, R3, R5, R8, R10 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R7, R9 and R11 are hydrogen;
(d) three of R1, R4, R5, R8, R9 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R3, R6, R7, R10 and R11 are hydrogen;
(e) three of R1, R3, R6, R8, R9 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R5, R7, R10 and R11 are hydrogen;
(f) three of R1, R3, R6, R7, R10 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R5, R8, R9 and R11 are hydrogen;
(g) three of R1, R3, R5, R8, R10 and R11 hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R7, R9 and R12 are hydrogen;
or(h) three of R1, R3, R5, R7, R9 and R11 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R8, R10 and R12 are hydrogen.

Abstract
The disclosure of the present invention is directed to an inositol triphosphate compound, useful as a pharmaceutical agent, having the structural formula ##STR1## where (a) three of R1, R3, R5, R7, R10 and R11 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R8, R9 and R12 are hydrogen;
(b) three of R1, R3, R6, R7, R9 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R5, R8, R10 and R11 are hydrogen;
(c) three of R1, R3, R5, R8, R10 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R7, R9 and R11 are hydrogen;
(d) three or R1, R4, R5, R8, R9 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R3, R6, R7, R10 and R11 are hydrogen;
(e) three of R1, R3, R6, R8, R9 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R5, R7, R10 and R11 are hydrogen;
(f) three of R1, R3, R6, R7, R10 and R12 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R5, R8, R9 and R11 are hydrogen;
(g) three of R1, R3, R5, R8, R10 and R11 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R7, R9 and R12 are hydrogen; or
(h) three of R1, R3, R5, R7, R9 and R11 are hydroxyl and the remaining three are phosphate and R2, R4, R6, R8, R10 and R12 are hydrogen.

- R5, R8 and R9 are hydroxyl; and
