Abstract
An improved conveyor assembly is disclosed which is specifically designed to maximize the use of standardized components yet still afford a maximum degree of flexibility in assembly whereby a wide variety of styles and widths of conveyor chain may be easily and conveniently accommodated. The conveyor assembly of the present invention incorporates standardized lengths of side rails which may be secured together in both end to end as well as side by side relationship so as to accomplish the above objectives. Various arrangements are also disclosed for accomplishing this assembly of components. Further, each of the side rails incorporate a pair of spaced continuous outwardly opening channels which are ideally suited for mounting of any auxiliary equipment desired as well as support for guide strips or the like.
