1. A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereona silver halide emulsion layer containing a silver halide emulsion and a hydrazine compound or a tetrazolium compound,a layer being provided on the surface of said emulsion layer farther from said support and containing a compound having a maximum spectral absorption at a wavelength of at least 50 nm longer than that of the maximum spectral sensitivity of said silver halide emulsion, anda layer being interposed between said support and said emulsion layer containing a macromolecular compound synthesized from ethylenically unsaturated monomers having a heterocyclic group with a sulfo group or an alkylsulfo group as a substituent;

  • said heterocyclic group being a pyridyl group, a pyrrodyl group, a carbazolyl group, a pyrrolyl group, a thienyl group, a furyl group or an indolyl group.
