1. A process for producing an electrical conductor, comprising the steps of:

  • (i) providing at least one sintered superconducting ceramic fiber having a metallization coating sintered thereon;

    (ii) providing at least one composite sheet having a cladding metal outer layer and a conductive adherent inner layer;

    (III) manipulating at least one composite sheet to provide generally opposing inner layers of the adherent;

    (iv) feeding at least one eramic fiber between the opposing layers; and

    (v) sandwiching the fed fiber(s) between the opposing layers to form an electrical conductor.
