Resin blends exhibiting improved impact properties
First Claim
1. A process for improving the impact properties of a blend of at least one aromatic carbonate resin and at least one polyester resin comprising admixing said blend with an amount effective to improve the impact properties of said blend of a two-phase interpolymer free of non-cross-linked or linear styrene-acrylonitrile polymer and free of any grafting or graft-linking comprised of the polymerized and cross-linked reaction products of at least one C2 -C10 alkyl acrylate monomer, at least one C8 -C22 alkyl methacrylate monomer, or mixtures thereof, and a cross-linked styrene-acrylonitrile resin second phase.
