1. A medical device implantable into the body of a living being comprising first detector means for detecting events relating to a physiological function of the living being;

  • setting means for setting the sensitivity (S) of the first detector means; and

    second detector means for detecting the events relating to the physiological function, the sensitivity thereof at least corresponding to the sensitivity (S) of the first detector means, and wherein the setting means is connected to the second detector means automatically sets the sensitivity (S) of the first detector means such that the first detector means detects each event detected by the second detector means.
