1. A urethane containing polymer comprising about 5% to about 70% by weight of perfluoroalkyl containing segments of bis-Rf containing neopentyleneoxy units and about 20-95% by weight of siloxane segments, wherein the perfluoroalkyl containing segment is selected from those of the structure:

  • ##STR19## and the siloxane-containing segment is selected from those of the structure;

    ##STR20## wherein Rf is a straight or branched chain perfluoroalkyl up to 18 carbon atoms or said perfluoroalkyl substituted by perfluoroalkoxy of 2 to 6 carbon atoms, or mixtures thereof;

    E is straight or branched chain alkylene of 1 to 10 carbon atoms or said alkylene interrupted by one to three groups independently selected from the group consisting of --NR--, --O--, --S--, --COO--, --OOC--, --CONR--, --NRCO--, --SO2 NR-- and NRSO2 --, or attached at the Rf end with --CONR-- or --SO2 NR-- where such Rf is attached to the respective carbonyl carbon or sulfur atom thereof and X is --S--, --O--, SO2 -- or --NR--;

    or E is a direct bond and X is --CONR-- or --SO2 NR where Rf is attached to the respective carbonyl carbon or sulfur atom thereof; and

    R is independently hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or hydroxyalkyl of 2 to 6 carbon atoms;

    m is 1-3 and x is 1 to 20;

    Z is --)--, --S-- or --NR4 -- where R4 is hydrogen or lower alkyl;

    R1 is straight or branched chain alkylene of up to 6 carbon atoms which may be interrupted by --N(R)-- where R is as defined hereinabove or is a polyoxyalkylene group of the formula
    
    
    space="preserve" listing-type="equation">--(alk--O).sub.f --alk-- where alk is straight or branched chain alkylene of 2 to 4 carbon atoms and f is an integer of 1 to about 50. R2, Ra, Rb, Rc, Rd and Re are straight or branched chain alkyl of up to 18 carbon atoms, alkoxy of up to 5 carbon atoms, phenyl or aralkylene of 7 to 19 carbon atoms;

    X1 and X2 are integers from 1 to 500 with the proviso that X1 +X2 is 5 to 1300; and

    z is 1 to 20;

    and D is the residue of an aromatic, aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or araliphatic diisocyanate.
