1. A stretched antistatic laminate film comprising at least one coating layer having a thickness in the range from 0.01 to 5 μ

  • m and containing a polymer having pyrrolidium rings in the main chain of the polymer on a polyester film layer, said polymer having pyrrolidium rings in the main chain of the polymer containing the repeating unit represented by the following formula (I) or (II);

    ##STR7## wherein R1 and R2 independently represent respectively an alkyl or phenyl group which may be substituted, R1 and R2 may chemically bond to form a ring, or one of R1 and R2 represents a hydrogen atom and X- represents a halogen atom, an inorganic acid residue, and organic sulfonic acid residue or a carboxylic acid residue, said coating layer being formed on the polyester film layer by an in-line coating method, said in-line coating method comprising applying said coating layer to a uniaxially stretched polyester film which has been uniaxially stretched by 2-6 times at a temperature from 60 to 130°

    C. by a roll stretching method and then optionally drying, stretching the resultant coated uniaxially stretched polyester film by 2-6 times at a temperature from 80°

    to 130°

    C. in the direction perpendicular to the uniaxial stretching direction and then heat treating the coated stretched polyester film at a temperature from 150°

    to 250°

    C. for 1 to 600 seconds.
