Abstract

A polyazo reactive dyestuff of the formula ##STR1## wherein D=the radical of a diazo component of the formulae ##STR2## A and A'"'"'=H, C₁ -C₄ -alkyl, C₁ -C₄ -alkoxy or halogen, R and R'"'"'=H, C₁ -C₄ -alkyl, C₁ -C₄ -alkoxy, halogen, CO₂ H or SO₃ H,

X=--CH═CH₂ or --CH₂ --CH₂ --Y,

wherein

Y=a radical which can be eliminated under alkaline conditions and

K=the radical of a coupling component of the pyridone, pyrazolone, pyrazolopyridone, acetoacetic acid arylide, N-(3-aminophenyl)acetamide, 3-aminophenylureido, naphthylamine, naphthol or naphtholamine series, it being possible for the radical K to contain further azo groups or radicals containing azo groups and further fibre-reactive radicals.

Claims

1. A polyazo reactive dyestuff of the formula

wherein

D=the radical of a diazo component of the formulae ##STR68## A and A'"'"'=H, C₁ -C₄ -alkyl, C₁ -C₄ -alkoxy or halogen, R and R'"'"'=H, C₁ -C₄ -alkyl, C₁ -C₄ -alkoxy, halogen, CO₂ H or SO₃ H,

X=--CH═

CH₂ or --CH₂ --CH₂ -Y,

wherein

Y=a radical which is eliminated under alkaline conditions and

K=the radical of a coupling component

selected from the group consisting of pyridone, acetoacetic acid arylide, naphthylamine, naphthol and naphtholamine or the radical K contains further azo groups or radicals containing azo groups and further fibre-reactive radicals.

2. A dyestuff of claim 1 of the formula ##STR69## .

3. A dyestuff of claim 2, wherein

A=H, CH₃, Cl or OCH₃,

R and R'"'"'=H, Cl, OCH₃ or SO₃ H,

X=CH₂ CH₂ OSO₃ H or CH═

CH₂ and ##STR70## wherein R¹ =H, C₁ -C₄ -alkyl, CH₂ CH₂ SO₃ H, CH₂ CH₂ OSO₃ H, aryl or --(CH₂)_2-3 --NHZ,

R² =H, Cl, SO₃ H, CONH₂, CH₂ SO₃ H, CN or SO₂ CH₃,

R³ =H, C₁ -C₄ -alkyl, CH₂ SO₃ H, aryl, CO₂ H, CO₂ CH₃ or CONH₂ and

Z=H, acyl, benzoyl or a fibre-reactive heterocyclic radical.

4. A dyestuff of claim 1, wherein ##STR71## wherein R⁸ =C₁ -C₄ -alkyl, phenyl, aminobenzoyl or Z, or

K= ##STR72## .

5. A dyestuff of claim 1 of the formula ##STR73## wherein W=H, SO₃ H or CH₂ SO₃ H, and ##STR74## .

6. A dyestuff of claim 1 of the formula ##STR75## .
