1. A roller circle, comprising:

  • upper and lower arcuate rails each having a bearing surface that is spaced from and opposes the bearing surface of the other rail;

    a plurality of tapered rollers in the space between the rails and in rolling contact with the bearing surfaces, each roller being mounted on a shaft; and

    an inner cage connecting the ends of the shafts of adjacent rollers at the smaller ends of the rollers,said inner cage including a portion that overlies a side face of one of said rails and engages said side face and transfers thrust loads from the rollers, through the cage, and to the rail.
