1. A fluorine-containing diisocyanate or polyisocyanate having a fluroine content determined as perfluorinated alkyl group content of from 15 to about 60% by weight, an isocyanate content of from about 0.5 to about 15% by weight and urethane groups which is the reaction product ofa) a diisocyanate or polyisocyanate having (cyclo)aliphatically bound isocyanate groups and a molecular weight of from about 168 to about 1,000 andb) a less than equivalent amount of a fluroine-containing monohydric or dihydric alcohol selected from the group consisting of ##STR6## in which Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl group containing from 4 to 26 carbon atoms, andR2 represents a difunctional saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon radical containing from 2 to 4 carbon atoms,R3 represents a C1 -C4 alkyl group,R4 represents a trifunctional saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon radical containing from 3 to 4 carbon atoms, andn represents 0, 1 or 2.
