1. An engine torque controlling system for a vehicle, said system comprising:

  • engine torque adjusting means for adjusting the engine torque independently of operation by a driver,first engine torque setting means for setting a first aimed engine torque in response to a magnitude of lateral acceleration applied to said vehicle during turning of said vehicle,second engine torque setting means for setting a second aimed engine torque in response to an amount of slip of a driving wheel of said vehicle,selector means for selecting and outputting said second aimed engine torque whenever said first aimed engine torque has been set by said first engine torque setting means and said second aimed engine torque has been set by said second engine torque setting means regardless of the values of said first and second aimed engine torques, andengine torque controlling means for controlling said engine torque adjusting means so that the torque of said engine becomes equal to the aimed torque engine torque selected by said selector means.
