-
providing a contact surface; providing a rigid support surface atop said contact surface, wherein said rigid support surface has a shape sized and configured substantially to the shape of the sole of the foot and said support surface including a first opening adapted to underlie a first portion of the sole; and placing the foot upon said rigid support surface, wherein a portion of the foot extends through said first opening so as to make direct contact with said contact surface, so that the person feels the portion of the foot touching the contact surface resulting in improved kinesthesia and balance when the person stands or walks. - View Dependent Claims (49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57)
