Pharmaceutical composition for immunoenhancement therapy
First Claim
1. A method for increasing the intracellular potassium content of lymphocytes of a mammal comprising administering to said mammal glucose in the amount of about 4 g-20 g/kg/day, insulin in an amount effective to maintain blood pre-meal and bedtime glucose at about 80-140 mg/dL, potassium in an amount effective to maintain blood levels at least about 5.0 mEq/L, and thyroid in an amount effective to elevate T4 levels to mild hyperthyroidism, whereby intracellular potassium content of lymphocytes is increased.
