12. A polyvinyl butyral interlayer comprising:

a) a multitude of substantially uninterrupted, parallel, narrow linear channels defined by ridges evenly spaced from each other arranged in a diagonal pattern and integrally formed in the surface of one side of the interlayer; and b) channels integrally formed in the surface of the other side of the interlayer identical to those in the one side intersecting the channels in the one side at an acute angle greater than 25 degrees. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14)
