1. A method for manufacturing a solid neuromuscular stimulator electrode comprising:

  • forming a skeleton which includes a plurality of spaced conductive polymer sections, and a plurality of lead wires with a connector pin at an end of each lead wire, in which at least one connector pin is positioned within each of the conductive polymer sections;

    placing the skeleton within an electrode mold; and

    molding non-conductive polymer to the skeleton to form an integral electrode having an elongated body with the conductive polymer sections separated by non-conductive polymer sections, wherein molding non-conductive polymer to the skeleton comprises forming a handle at a first end of the body and a bulbous end at a second end of the body, the handle and bulbous end of the skeleton being formed from a first non-conductive polymer having a first durometer and the non-conductive polymer sections being formed from a second non-conductive polymer having a second durometer.
