1. A suspension control apparatus for a vehicle having hydraulic cylinders which are arranged respectively between a member of a vehicle frame and members of each wheel, and a flow control valve which controls supply/drain of hydraulic fluid to/from an operation chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, comprising:

  • lateral acceleration detection means for detecting a lateral acceleration which affects a vehicle;

    high-pass filter means for performing a high-pass processing on a detected signal of the lateral acceleration detection means;

    rate of change calculation means for calculating a rate of change of the lateral acceleration; and

    control means for obtaining a control variable for the flow control valve based on the rate of change of the lateral acceleration which is calculated by the rate of change calculation means, the control means having;

    determination means for determining whether or not a vehicle is in a stable turning state on the basis of the signal processed by the high-pass filter means; and

    regulating means for regulating the control of the flow control valve based on the rate of change of the lateral acceleration, when the determination means determines that the vehicle is in the stable turning state.
