1. A card-shaped electronic device for use with an electronic apparatus, said device comprising:

  • a rectangular flat box-like main body to be inserted into and taken out of the electronic apparatus in a given insertion direction, the main body having a pair of lateral sides extending in the insertion direction and a recess formed on a lateral side of the main body; and

    a pair of shield plates fixed to the main body and to cover the upper and lower surfaces of the main body, each of the shield plates being formed of a metal and including a bent portion which is fitted in the recess and constitutes a conductive portion.
