1. A transparent conductive coating on a substrate, said conductive coating containing an electroconductive powder consisting essentially of from about 0.1 to 10% by weight silica, and tin oxide doped with at least one of tantalum and niobium, and optionally phosphorus;

  • wherein said powder is substantially free of antimony and pyrochlore.
