An ice cell for the cooling of drinks comprising a closed hollow body filled with a freezable liquid, said the hollow body being made at least partially of a transparent material, at least one insert freely movable in said hollow body, said insert being made from a floatable, flexible film of synthetic material, and said hollow body having an opening sized for insertion therethrough of the flexible film as a rolled insert and for filling the hollow body therethrough with the freezable liquid.
