1. A process for amperometric detection of nitrite ions, nitrogen monoxide or a substance containing a NO group present in a sample, which comprises the steps of:

  • providing a sensor having a first electrode, a second auxiliary electrode, and a third reference electrode that are immersed in an aqueous solution contained in an enclosure,introducing the sample into the aqueous solution,applying a potential between the first and third electrodes, andmeasuring the electric current flowing between the first and second electrodes, wherein the first electrode comprises an electrically conductive support coated with an electronically conductive polymer film doped by mixed heteropolyanions complying with one of the formulas;
