1. An adjustable flow rate implant device for draining aqueous humor from an eye, comprising:

  • a hollow tubular member having a first and second end, the first end being sealed and having a size and shape to allow the first end to be inserted in anterior portion of an eye, the second end being open, and the first and second ends being connected by a wall, and wherein the flow rate of aqueous humor from the device may be adjusted after implantation by providing the portion of the wall of the tubular member located within the anterior portion of the eye with at least one opening to allow a sufficient flow rate of aqueous humor from the eye into the first end of and through the tubular member to the exterior of the implant device, to relieve damaging intraocular pressure, wherein at least one portion of the wall connecting the first and second ends of the tubular member is thinner than the remaining portion of the wall.
