1. A cured perfluorinated urethane polymer prepared by the process which comprises cross-linking a perfluorinated urethane polymer precursor having the structural formula ##STR5## wherein Ar is a monocyclic aromatic moiety and X is a perfluorinated polyether linkage containing approximately 2 to 100 recurring perfluorinated mer units having the structure .paren open-st.CF2 O.paren close-st., .paren open-st.CF2 CF2 O.paren close-st., or combinations thereof, with a cross-linking agent selected from the group consisting of water, diols of the formula HO--R--OH wherein R is alkylene of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, bisphenol A and hexafluorobisphenol A, wherein the cross-linking agent is present such that, it represents on the order of 0.5 to 5 wt. % of the cured perfluorinated urethane polymer.
