15. An isolated protein identified by a method comprising the steps of:
-
a) administering human thymocytes to immunize mice and produce antibodies; b) purifying and isolating antibodies that specifically recognize cortical thymocytes by immunochemical staining of thymus with said antibodies produced in step (a); c) isolating an antibody from step (b) that specifically recognizes a protein expressed on thymocytes, leukemia cells, and T lymphoblastic lymphoma cells, with a molecular weight of about 120,000 Daltons, wherein said protein is JL-1 and has a partial amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO. 1 d) isolating said JL-1 protein with said antibody of step (c). - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
