A collapsible table comprisinga table top including two table pieces hingedly attached to each other so that when the table is erect the table pieces are substantially coplanar and when the table is collapsed the table pieces fold substantially together,wherein the table top has two sides, each side having a medial region located between first and second ends, each side of the table being supported by a support structure including:
- a first leg pivotally attached at point A below the first end of the side, a second leg pivotally attached at point B below the second end of the side, a first brace connecting the first leg to the medial region of the side, the first brace having an articulating joint at point C, a second brace connecting the second leg to the medial region of the side, the second brace having an articulating joint at point D, a first cable line running from point A to point D to point B, and a second cable line running from point A to point C to point B.
