1. A silver halide color photographic material having at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, which comprises at least one cyan dye-forming coupler represented by the following formula (I) in at least one of said silver halide emulsion layers:

  • ##STR33## wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent, R2 represents a substituent, X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon a coupling reaction of the coupler represented by formula (I) with an oxidized product of a color-developing agent, and Z1 represents a group of nonmetallic atoms required for forming a nitrogen-containing 6-membered heterocyclic ring, which contains at least one group capable of being dissociated;

    wherein the emulsion layer containing said cyan dye-forming coupler and/or an intermediate layer adjacent to said emulsion layer contains colloidal silver.
