  • storing an array of exposure data in a sliding window memory, said sliding window memory having a predetermined number of addressable rows, each of said rows for storing a row of said array of exposure data;

    generating a microimage on said drum, by addressing elements of a pixel array imaging device in accordance with said array of exposure data;

    decrementing said exposure data to account for said microimage;

    readdressing each row of said array of exposure data to a next row of said sliding window memory;

    addressing a new row of exposure data as a last row of said sliding window memory;

    repeating said generating, decrementing, readdressing, and addressing steps until all of said image is exposed.
