1. An image displaying system in which data of two-dimensionally mapped velocities of movement of a tissue in a cross section of an object being examined are provided frame by frame, the system comprising:
- means for specifying a point in the data of two-dimensionally mapped velocities of each frame and for providing parameters denoting a plurality of angular positions extending radially from said specified point in said data of two-dimensionally mapped velocities;
means for converting frame by frame the data of two-dimensionally mapped velocities of each frame into image data of movement of the tissue in accordance with said specified point and said parameters denoting said radial lines; and
means for displaying a plurality of image data produced over the plurality of frames as a more than one-dimensional image including two axes, one axis corresponding to an elapsing-time order over the plurality of frames and the other axis representing values of the image data along at least one of said radial lines extending from said specified point.

Abstract
There is provided an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus in which a region containing an organ of an object being examined is diagnosed by means of ultrasonic beams, the organ being in motion, the apparatus comprising: an element for scanning the region by the ultrasonic beams to obtain ultrasonic echo signals having Doppler shift; an element for calculating movement velocities every sampling volume on the basis of the ultrasonic echo signals; and an element for displaying in color the movement velocities.
