1. A multilayer heat-shrinking film structure having a core of one or more core layers and an outer layer on each side of the core, the multilayer structure core consisting essentially of:

  • a) a metallocene catalyzed polyolefin first component having a narrow melting point, the melting point being less than about 115°

    C. and the first component having a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) within the range of about 1 to about 3 and a density less than about 0.92 grams per cubic centimeter; and

    b) a polyolefin second component having a melting point at least about 10°

    C. greater than the first component and an orientation temperature at least about 2°

    C. less than its melting point whereby the weight ratio of component a) to b) is in the range of about 50-98;

    2-50.c) 0-10 weight parts ethylene vinyl acetate, ionomer or polyester.wherein the weight parts of a), b) and c) total 100 and the core is about 40 to 95% of the total thickness of the multilayer structure.
