Abstract
Pyridone dyes of the formula ##STR1## where X is nitrogen or C--CN,
R1 and R2 are each substituted or unsubstituted C1 -C10 -alkyl, C5 -C7 -cycloalkyl, C3 -C4 -alkenyl or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen atom joining them together are a heterocyclic radical,
R3 is hydrogen, C1 -C10 -alkyl, C4 -C7 -cylcoalkyl, benzyl, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, substituted or unsubstituted furanyl or substituted or unsubstituted thienyl,
R4 is hydrogen, C1 -C4 -alkyl or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl,
R5 is cyano, carbamoyl, mono- or di(C1 -C8 -alkyl)carbamoyl, carboxyl, C1 -C8 -alkoxycarbonyl or benzimidazolyl, and
R6 is substituted or unsubstituted C1 -C10 -alkyl, C5 -C7 -cycloalkyl or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl,
are useful for dyeing or printing textile materials.
