1. A method of treating skin to lessen or reduce wrinkling, comprising:

  • removing a release liner from a dermal delivery device, the delivery device including a layer having adhesive and powdered or granulated ascorbic acid with an acidity between pH 4 and pH 7, an oxygen impermeable release liner backing on a first side of the layer, and a release liner on a second side of the layer opposite the first side;

    applying the delivery device to the skin by contacting the layer with the skin and applying an application force to the backing to adhere the device to the skin;

    allowing moisture from the skin to contact the layer to infuse the ascorbic acid into the skin to lessen or reduce skin wrinkling; and

    removing the delivery device from the skin.
