1. Method for determining a ligand via a homogeneous assay, comprising:
- contacting a sample with an amount of a labelled substance P2, and a receptor R which consists of one molecule of a binding partner P1, which monovalently and specifically binds to P2, and one molecule of R1, which specifically binds to said ligand, to form complexes comprising P1, P2, R1 and said ligand, and determining said complexes as a determination of said ligand in said sample, wherein R1 is a nucleic acid molecule.

Abstract
The application describes homogeneous assays for determining ligands. A sample is contacted with a labeled substance P2 and receptor R. The receptor R consists of one molecule of P1, which monovalently and specifically binds to P2, and one molecule for R1, which binds to the ligand of interest. Complexes of P1, P2, R1 and ligand form, and are determined. R1 must be a nucleic acid molecule.
