1. A system comprising:

  • (a) a plurality of components adapted to be mixed to form a flowable polyurethane biomaterial for delivery to the surface of a knee joint where the biomaterial would cure to provide a permanent replacement material for natural bone or cartilage of the joint, and(b) a delivery instrument for delivery of the biomaterial to the knee joint, the instrument being adapted to mix the plurality of components at the time of use and to inject the mixed components through a cannula adapted to be inserted through a tissue access site and operated under arthroscopic control and visualization, and(c) an arthroscopic drill bit for use in drilling one or more anchor points into subchondral bone of the knee wherein the anchor points formed by the drill bit prevent rotational or translational movement of the cured biomaterial within the knee joint.
