Abstract
The present invention is directed towards a multilayer golf ball which comprises a core; at least one cover layer; and one or more mantle layers disposed between the core and cover layer. The core has a compression of less than 70 points and a specific gravity less than 1.18. The mantle layer has a specific gravity of greater than 1.2. As a result, the ball of the present invention is a "soft" feeling distance ball.
