1. A sintered friction material comprising:

  • a copper alloy base material including copper alloy powder grains, and Cu, Zn, and Ni, wherein a content of said Zn and Ni together is within a range of 5 to 40 wt % of said base material; and

    hard particles uniformly dispersed in said copper alloy powder grains of said base material, wherein a content of said hard particles is within a range of 10 to 30 wt % of said friction material.
