1. A display device comprising:

  • a transparent-scattering type display element in which light scattering characteristics are changed in response to an external input;

    an optical member disposed at a back side of the transparent-scattering type display element, which substantially transmits light which passes through the transparent-scattering type display element within a predetermined range of an incident angle, and substantially reflects other light; and

    a light absorber disposed at the back side of the optical member;

    wherein the optical member comprises two parts in an overlay relation.
