1. A compact and easy method for preserving a polished inorganic glass which comprises:
- enclosing a polished inorganic glass in a container having a gas barrier property with an oxygen permeability of 10 ml/2 •
Day•
atm or below at 25°
C. at 60% RH and a water vapor permeability of 1 g/m2 •
Day or below at 40°
C. at 90% RH together with an oxygen absorbent requiring no moisture for absorption of oxygen and a drying agent, andthen, sealing the container to remove substantially both oxygen and moisture from the container, thereby preventing weathering of the polished glass.
