1. A method of re-registering a first sensor during a live event, said first sensor being part of a system for performing a first function, said system further including a second sensor, said method comprising the steps of:
- accumulating data during said live event including acquiring data from said first sensor and said second sensor, said first sensor being mis-registered, said second sensor being properly registered and said data acquired from said second sensor being used for performing said first function;
calculating, during said live event, an error based on at least a subset of said accumulated data and one or more registration parameters associated with said first sensor; and
determining, during said live event, a new value for at least one of said registration parameters.

Abstract
Although sensors are typically registered before the live event, a sensor'"'"'s location, orientation and/or field of view can be altered during the event. A system for re-registering a sensor during a live event allows for the determination that a sensor is not properly registered. If such a determination is made, the system accumulates valid data during the live event. The valid data is compared to the data from the improperly registered sensor in order to determine the amount of error. The variables that define the sensor'"'"'s registration are changed to reduce the error.
