- a transaction device, wherein said transaction device one of generates and transmits a first signal in response to a transaction; and
a communication device associated with an individual account, wherein said communication device receives said first signal, and further wherein said communication device generates a second signal which provides a notification to the individual account holder of the transaction,wherein said transaction device transmits said first signal to said communication device, and further wherein said first signal is transmitted over a communication network directly to said communication device.

A transaction security apparatus which comprises a transaction device, wherein the transaction device one of generates and transmits a first signal in response to a transaction, and a communication device associated with an individual account. The communication device receives the first signal. The communication device generates a second signal which provides a notification to the individual account holder of the transaction. The transaction device transmits the first signal to the communication device. The first signal is transmitted over a communication network directly to the communication device.

a transaction device, wherein said transaction device one of generates and transmits a first signal in response to a transaction; and a communication device associated with an individual account, wherein said communication device receives said first signal, and further wherein said communication device generates a second signal which provides a notification to the individual account holder of the transaction, wherein said transaction device transmits said first signal to said communication device, and further wherein said communication device is one of programmed for automatically one of generating and transmitting a third signal in response to said first signal, programmed to respond to said first signal with one of a preprogrammed and pre-set response, and programmed for one of approving and disapproving the transaction according to one of type of transaction, type of one of good and service, one of a store, service provider, bank, and financial institution authorized to perform a transaction on the account, transaction amount limit, account daily spending limit, authorized geographic location for account transaction, authorized transaction time, and one of temporary and permanent one of restrictions and limitations on account usage.

a transaction device, wherein said transaction device one of generates and transmits a first signal in response to a transaction on an account; a central processing device for receiving said first signal and for one of generating and transmitting a second signal in response to said first signal; and a communication device associated with an individual account, wherein said communication device receives said second signal from said central processing device, and further wherein said communication device transmits a third signal to said transaction device in response to said second signal, wherein said third signal contains information for one of approving and disapproving the transaction, and further wherein said third signal is transmitted over a communication network directly to said transaction device. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)

17. A transaction security apparatus, which comprises:

a transaction device, wherein said transaction device one of generates and transmits a first signal in response to a transaction on an account; a central processing device for receiving said first signal and for one of generating and transmitting a second signal in response to said first signal; and a communication device associated with an individual account, wherein said communication device receives said second signal from said central processing device, and further wherein said communication device transmits a third signal to said transaction device in response to said second signal, wherein said third signal contains information for one of approving and disapproving the transaction, and further wherein said communication device is one of programmed for automatically one of generating and transmitting said third signal in response to said second signal, programmed to respond to the second signal with one of a preprogrammed and pre-set response, and programmed for one of approving and disapproving the transaction according to one of type of transaction, type of one of good and service, one of a store and service provider authorized to perform a transaction on the account, transaction amount limit, account daily spending limit, authorized geographic location for account transaction, authorized transaction time, and one of temporary and permanent one of restrictions and limitations on account usage.

18. A method for providing transaction security, comprising:

generating a first signal at a transaction device in response to a transaction on an individual account; transmitting said first signal to a communication device associated with an individual account holder, wherein said first signal is transmitted over a communication network directly to the communication device; and generating a second signal at the communication device in response to said first signal, wherein said second signal provides notification to the individual account holder of the transaction. - View Dependent Claims (19, 20, 21)
